Memories of Love

Do you ever visit, places in your past?
Exploring your journey, becoming so vast
When you fell in love, with whoever was there
And remembering the moments, both of you share

The hall where our favourite band, would once play
By scalping for tickets, because we'd delay
Having the best view, in front of the crowd
And both of us screaming, while singing so loud

Hiring a jet ski down, down by the lake
Where the seat we shared, would vibrate and shake
We started off slowly, as we first tried to turn
To yelling "go faster" before we'd return

When we took a hike, on a hill climb
While working each muscle, so overtime
When coming back down, we no longer could walk
Where we sat on a bench and for hours would talk

Buying hot chips and a drink we would share
We'd stroll on the shore, to see the sun glare
What a sight to behold, watching it set
And creating fond memories, we'd never forget

It's funny when passing, these places now
Where your past emotions, are still on the prowl
When falling in love, the memories don't fade
To walk by these places, where we once both stayed
