The Temple of Fire

by BOB GALLO   Nov 13, 2022

When the truth is not lonely!
When the truthful is not one and only!

Where
in the chests of my brothers and sisters
the red truth breaks free
from the prison of traffic lights,

from the bars of ribcages and bones,
because the truth bigger than life
cannot be fitted in space,
because no oubliette is adequately capacious,
because fire is the union of all combustibles,
because the fire is omnipresence,
because fire is everlasting
in the heart of the braves.

The temple of fire is within:
the flambeau
that torches improbities.
