Trust is something I have struggled with. I have lied and kept secrets. Why? To protect others or myself. Why? Because humans, Gods and Devils can be unkind and selfish, including myself. But, that is no excuse not to hold a higher moral ground. Trust within is the start to have trust with others. I have always questioned my own inner knowing. I have been punished for acting on my intuition. Not any longer! I rise from the ashes.

I agree. But trust could be intuitional but the knowledge (of trustee as much as the knowledge in general) is the biggest part of it.
In this I try to say the lack of trust mostly comes from the very self rather than the others.
