The Irony

Time is links
woven together loop by loop,
days and nights,
ad infinitum,

to
enchain the Sisyphus of
timelessness.

Enough is what time
is endlessly looking for
to end itself,
to run to its end, to endlessness,
but the infinite constancy of that running
reinforces its finitude.

A vicious cycle,
the endlessness of the finite
looking for, and mirroring,
the timelessness in the same time!

It seems one endlessness can only soothe
the lesion of the other,
yet parallels never reach out;

mirroring one another
only to prolong their endless secession
to the end.
