The Story Of Two Becomes One

At an early age,
The little boy thought of loving someone,
Saying I love you up on the stage.
Letting his bride know she is his number one.

In another country, there was a little girl,
Receiving a kiss from her crush.
So full of joy she was out in a twirl.
On her cheeks was a small blush.

The boy now a teen,
Dating a girl whom he cared for.
Soon he would see that not everything was all green.
The girlfriend would break him down to the core.

The little girl now a teenager.
Full of happiness for the things she is learning.
Also having a major crush on a mature boy.
She was so into him her heart was burning.

The boy now a man,
Breaking hearts left and right
Not trusting anyone was his plan.
Love for him was out of sight.

The girl now a woman,
Felt her first heart break.
Watching as her major crush married another.
Her heart for the first time feeling an ache.

The man gave love another shot,
To his disappointment, again he was broken down.
He questioned if love was even in his story plot.
This time he told himself he would not drown in tears.

The women understood she had to let go,
She moved on to helping others.
Little by little, she again began to grow.
Her life shining with so many colors.

The man traveled to faraway places,
Enjoying life but still feeling an emptiness inside.
While doing so searching through many faces
In which he would find his long awaited bride.

The women was also enjoying life,
However, she felt alone.
Wondering if she would ever become someone’s wife.
For none of the men near her gave her the right tone.

As the man was ready to give up
He meet her, the women.
The man describes it like a thump,
Was given straight to his heart, from then on he wanted no other.

The women wondered could he be it.
The one who would spend all life with her.
She had to admit,
He was a spiritual and dashing monsieur.

Finally, we found love.
Yes, we are happily married.
