How Much Of One's Character, Persona, Is Really Who They Are!!!

R KELLY CONVICTED OF RACKETEERING & SEX TRAFFICKING!!! (This Poses An Interesting Question...)

R Kelly was just convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking. Now, although, this was a just conviction and a righteous judgment, this makes me wonder about the line between who a person really is and their artistic persona. If you have a persona for your art that is provocative and extreme, how much of this persona, alter ego is what is subconsciously laiden inside you and more of your true self and how much of it is embellished, simply and extreme character created to draw attention? Is there a point where you begin to live that persona, instead of it just being a character? The question is, how much of this persona is just a character and how much of it represents your true and basic characteristics. And if it is just a character simply a created persona, can one be taken over, consumed, by said persona? How much does ones persona reflect who and what they really are, and secondarily, can that persona when assumed enough and willfully ontaken, time and time again, become dominant? Can you consistently ontake and explore deviance, evil, and sadism, without becoming evil, deviant, and sadistic? Can you willfully live in darkness without being consumed by it? How much of a persona, that you present, is really you and can you be overcome by said persona and have that created alter ego become dominant?

To further explore the question and delve more deeply into the topic and questions therein, just look at Marilyn Manson and the accusations leveled against him. Both Manson and Kelly have personas that are on the edge and fringe of what's expectable in proper society and that embraced the deviant, the evil, sadistic and or dark. Makes you wonder doesn't it, if their personas, where more than just assumed characters, but really more their true characteristics and who they really were.
