I can't forget all the time we have spent
To simply do as you do and move on
Was there a moment which you don't resent
Or have good memories now simply gone?

I will not stop you, don't think you are tied
With finding that place where you'd rather be
I can't help feeling that you must have lied
Only showing what I wanted to see

But I'll never know how you make love act
Convincing me till the day, you would leave
Then laugh it off with the way I react
And making out like I'm just too naive
