Butcher House

by Cantchangeme   Jul 22, 2025

My lullabies were screams
To me they sounded sweet
I had many different pets
When they got old we’d eat
My toys were sharp
The type that teach us care
I had an imaginary sibling
I’m pretty sure was there
My clothing had name tags
Of those I’d never met
So much work in the garden
But not one potato yet

I like the rhythm of this. It’s like a nursery rhyme almost. Congrats on front page. Well done.
