A garden once grew

by shadows of saber   Aug 2, 2025

happiness was a meer memory of the friendship we had.
Messages of memes, sorrow, excitement and achievements.
Caring with deep and meaningful support.
Checking in. Shinning bright of your dreams and your work.

But the sad realisation.
All shifted to one sided conversation.

No longer the humble words of checking in.

Just the bitter taste of what the world has done .

For when the world came crashing down and I was unable to bear it, you made no sound.

No compassion. No care. No sympathy nor any time to be there.

Once a open and short gate way of a vibrant place.

A beautiful garden grew. Filled with bouquets of colourful blooms.

The weeds set in. No water to care.

Frost took the most delicate flowers .

The environment was to much to bear.

I tried to stay and maintain that garden.
Watering yours and neglecting myself.

Truama weeds spread but there was no pardon.

I walked away and shut that garden.

I tried with all my might.

Spoke about it, was open and honest.

The garden needs help won't you help me for a minute?

Passed the blame and never said sorry.

Tried to cry and was left unheard of

For it takes two to sow this vibrant garden.

Let's close the gates on this desolate place.

Let it lay dead and make through this "mistake"

As I lay down to rest.

I bear no ill will and bear no sorrow of when we laid our garden to rest.
