Earthquake

If the ground could hum
It would hum your name
Every tree would sway
Every spark would flame
The rivers would rise
And the mountains would bow
But they can’t feel it
No
Not like I do now

The stars can’t see it
The winds can’t know
This heart’s a wildfire
It’ll only grow

If the world could feel how strongly I love you
It would shake
It would shatter
It would break in two
Every heartbeat
Every breath I take
Is a tremor for you
Is an earthquake

The sun would blush
It would hide its face
The moon would melt in its silver grace
Oceans would roar
Skies would crack
But none of it matches what I hold back

The rain can’t cry it
The thunder can’t shout
This love’s a secret the earth can’t let out

If the world could feel how strongly I love you
It would shake
It would shatter
It would break in two
Every heartbeat
Every breath I take
Is a tremor for you
Is an earthquake
