Crossroads

When you get to a certain point in life,
You have to really think about which way your life is going,
Its almost like driving a car,
You get to a crossroad and have to decide on the direction you want to go.

Your brake is on,
Your life on hold,
Should you turn left?,
Or should it be right?,
But then there's always straight ahead,
The only road blocked is the one you just came from,
Its being pulled up even as you watch-knowing you can never go back.

The safe road would be straight ahead,
You can see clearly that there's no obstacles,
But there's a catch you have to get over the one hurdle,
The one thing that could prevent you from going down the easy road.

Left or Right?
Well ones going to lead to the same end as the straight road,
Except its going to take a short while longer-you just have to make sure you don't run out of petrol,
The other will lead to a dead end,
Resulting with no way to turn back only sit and watch that road be destroyed knowing your not going to be far behind.
