Release

by Lora   Jul 4, 2005

The shadow of evil was sweeping closer and closer,
The pain that lay waiting rising to the surface,
And the blood of the victim was beginning to boil,
In retaliation to the hatred inside the skin began to shake.

In a heap on the floor the pain was so great,
And the devil so near,
Hatred no longer only weeping and self loathing,
And a uncontrollable thought of death.

It didn't feel like heaven so it must of been hell,
But soon she was at neither,
The light had vanished,
And for once in her life she was safe.
