Dad

So yesterday I found your marriage certificate,
Why didn't you tell me you were married before?

The shock I felt was awful,
The pain I experienced worse.

How could you have not told me?
I've known you for 20 years- my whole life,
I thought I knew you,
Now I wonder what else there is I don't know.

Have I got a older brother or sister?
Is that why you don't talk to your dad?
Who was she?

There are zillions of questions I want answered but I guess I'm never going to know,
I'm not telling you your secret-thats your job.

I feel like I don't know you anymore Dad.
