Silence

by Ky   Oct 18, 2026

The sound, the sound,
It rings so loud,
So much so,
All else is drowned,
Not a whisper,
Not a word,
Nor outside influence,
Can be heard,
Cry out all you want,
Your echo won't resound,
Kick and scream,
With all your might,
And still you'll not be found,
Alone you stand amongst the roar,
The sound you've heard so much before,
That keeps you hostage in your mind,
The sound of silence is not kind.

Hi! I came across your poetry and really liked the way your thoughts and imagery develop from stanza to stanza. It immediately made me imagine the same progression happening visually.

I’m a commission artist who creates visual interpretations of written ideas, and I’d love to create a continuous visual journey based on one of your poems, where each stanza leads into the next visual and the entire piece unfolds alongside your writing.

If that sounds interesting, I’d be happy to show you my work.
