My Eyes Are...

I have eyes like none of yours...

Eyes that see what others can't;
Eyes that watched my memories' dent.

I have eyes, watching as you went...

Eyes that have a past in them, mourning;
Eyes that chased the truth, panting;

I have eyes the seek, wanting...

Eyes that froze with angst and desire;
Eyes that yearned for warmth, for fire;

I have eyes that brought me higher...

Eyes that carved my mere identity;
Eyes that showed the courage inside me;

I have eyes revealing my destiny...

Eyes that wept for bliss and loss;
Eyes that claim what life may toss;

I have eyes like none of yours...

    Wow! That is an awesome poem! I loved the structure, the rhyme and meter.
    You did really well at capturing all the different....roles(?) no.... aspects (that's better) of the eyes... Great Work!
