Misread Words

by StarGirl   Jul 21, 2004

She said she was sorry,
She really did try,
But the words from her mouth
Couldn't explain her feelings inside.

Two friends one day, two enemies the next.
All from words misread.

One person they hurt
Two for each other
Three for a friend
Four for anther.
Five, Six and Seven for everyone else.

All from words misread.

No one's to blame,
No one's at fault.
Words are deadly at best.
Meanings hazy and Clarity Foggy.

All from words misread.

Though she said she was sorry,
The meaning still linger
Her words not believed
As she wipes a tear from her finger.

Time will heal as they say,
And I guess it is true,
From all that is said
All from words misread.
