Falling Apart (Losing Sight of Life Before)

Things are going against me
or maybe it's you
that they are going against
ya, I think it's you
and I'm one of those things
never did I mean
to make you
feel the way
that you are feeling now
it was not my intention
hurting one of
the greatest friends
I've ever had
is not something I want to do
and yet
I've come to learn
that I have done
just that
and now I feel
as if everything
is coming apart
and I'm losing my sight
of how life was before
before I knew
what it is
I'm doing to you
all that's left to do
is hope and pray
that this can be fixed
because I don't want
to lose you
I feel horrible
and I know it's my fault
I deserve to feel this way
you don't deserve
to be treated
the way you pointed out
that I've been treating you
is this falling apart?
are we losing sight
of life before
or worse,
are we losing
each other?
