That Feeling

The most intense feeling ever is hard to explain...
My whole body tingled,
My heart went insane.

I got goosebumps all over,
Cold and hot in one instant.
I was shaking of excitement
but was not at all distant.
I felt so secure but my emotions were mixed...
My heart beat faster then the pace was fixed.

Completely on edge
but perfectly sound.
I was flying so high
but never left the ground.

Gasping for breath
then it came too fast.
My mind was racing but had not a task.
Any movement at all made it all start again...
The butterflies would return,
the feeling just wouldn't end.

This was the best feeling ever,
and it's hard to describe.
In that minute I was reborn
and had learned how to fly...

    interesting.....not what i was expecting at all.. the last two lines were a complete turn from what i was thinkin.. i was thinkin this was sum kinda love poem, lol, but i guess i was wrong???? well either way.. great job :)

    I doubt it's love...man it felt like it and that is what I thought of when it happened. but just with this person I doubt it could be. The person is in the poem "Who???" as the one that I've liked off and on throughout the past few years...
