A Distant Land

We travelled together to a distant land
With you by my side, Hand in hand

I thanked God for his grace
For letting me see your beautiful face

Happiness flows as I hold you tight
While we sat on the hill top, showered by the sunset light

Sharing our thoughts, memories and dreams
Our hearts met, they melted and fused in one

Suddenly the ground vanishes.
The sun pierced the sky and your image fades

Waking with a sigh, again I closed my eyes
To search for where that distant land lies
