Lies...

Following the unseen pendulum
Hypnotizing my own mind
Telling myself that she holds no value
Love for her, I shell not find

Drowning feelings with persuasion
Covering affection with lie
Again and again I charmed to myself
“My love for her is now dry”

“She is fat as elephant’s ass”
“She looks like baboon’s butt”
“She drives like a crazy granny”
“Her brain is the size of a nut”

“Just think about the poor daughter you’ll have”
“In a beauty contest she would have negative luck”
“Normally two minus would make a plus”
“But in this case people would think wtf!!”

Lies covered the mind from seeing love’s cut
Unwanted love cuts deep into the heart
“I don’t need her at all” I made myself believe
Underneath the believe, heart lies broken apart…

I can tell this poem was just a starter piece to get you back into writing. its perhaps not as expressive as your others, takes on a slightly different style but ino where you're coming from.     ... Its been a long while since I last wrote anything... this poem seems kind of random but it is what Im going through right now. Its a strange feeling to go through something like this :S
