Last of The Secret Love

by Allen   Jan 29, 2005

Conscience denied my wish
I was ever so foolish

Reality woke my dream
So real, it’d seem

I never got around to say “I love you”
But what if you knew?

It was a lie that I believed in.
Now the true story begins

Spring… made the love bloom
But in your heart, I had no room

This piano music in the background
Solo tone it will forever sound

I’ve reached the end of the plank
But the paradise stays as blank

This is neither a blessing nor a curse
Just friendship, for better, for worse

Confession has not been spoken
If I did, all will be broken

Just like the flame that has died
For now, this love I’ll put aside.

* I think the time for this secret love of mine to end has come :(… for this very special girl I’ve penned down 10 poems… this one is the combination and conclusion of them all… *

Aww Allen, sorry to hear you never told her. I was really hoping it would be a big fairytale for you.

I hope you're well and I wish you all the best.

  • Oh.. thats not something i expected. ITs good to see you back. Hope you are fine. Take care.

    The poem is good.
    Especially the lines
"This is neither a blessing nor a curse
Just friendship, for better, for worse"

We can't decide whether love is a blessing or a curse... whether it happens for better or for worse..... God alone knows!

    Take care. See you around.
    Love,
    Trincy.
