Away

by Tessa   Aug 2, 2004

Leave this place far behind
fly away to peace of mind
beyond steel city over the blue
fall the forest of every hue
there in the glade graced by the tree.
I'll sleep in the flowers and find the true me.
Listen to birds and admire this life.
so diffrent, so new, so utterly right

There I'll find you with twilight
find myrest, find sanity in your might.
orchids and lilacs, it's heaven on earth.
here with you i've found rebirth.
Liquid fire comes from your lips
as we explore heavenly bliss.
In this world of wonder, peace, and sound.

Blissfully romantic and peaceful. A beautiful, adventuristic poem. It seemed like a journey, almost like a childrens tale of adventure and flight.
    I like it a lot.
Well written like usual, with talented phrases and brilliant imagery.
