Fade to Black

by Brad Champagne   Aug 20, 2004

As love and friendship fade to black
The world around us dims.
The wayward cycle almost back
To the place where it begins.
In the beginning all was formed
Out of the chaos true,
But then our evil spirits dormed
In nothing that we'd do.
All the earth has one astray
And all have lost their way.

Ever faithful in the causes
Of the dying races,
None of age will take their pauses
From their endless paces.
Wandering in endless rambling,
Void of understanding,
Now with fate gambling,
With destruction banding.
Gone is good, and gone the veil,
Now hear the fatal wail.
