Spider Wins Again

by Kevin J   Aug 20, 2004

The spider creeps
The spider seeps
What little calm
I chose to keep
In my reserve
For times like this
I hope my nerve
Helps me resist
The urge to flee
The urge to see
This tiny bug
As big as me
My heart it pounds
Inside my chest
Instinct responds
I tried my best
The spider wins
The spider grins
Inside my mind
I ran, the End

This was perfect. I love the rhyme scheme, and I love the poems structure. Its amazing.

I love this line "Inside my mind"
because that measures the power of the spider. Good job.
