Description of life

by Jacqui Armstrong   Aug 21, 2004

This life is like a big black hole,
The colour deep as black as coal.
The feeling matches quite close,
The colder shiver of evil ghosts.

From past to present future to,
Downward through a life so new.
Each drop further towards your end,
Echoing each wish that you send.

Downwards further looks the same,
A life alone has no name.
Words flashing by don’t mean a thing,
Going past string by string.

Still going down deep into black,
Waiting for a whisper or crack.
Through our life wondering why,
Asking this until we die.
