Dead Star

by Flea   Aug 25, 2004

I can see a star, shining so bright
Who is that light which I crave?
Are you the one I’m supposed to wish upon?
Fall, fall, faster down to the ground
Lie there under the moon
I will find you; I will search all my life
Mourn you like I mourn death
Little do we know, of who our stars are
They’re the ghosts upon the bed
Cold chills and shivers when you feel them
Find them; make the wish
But with that all said and done
Another disappointment…the great disappointment
When I find my star dead, my mourning star
