My Suicide

by CityGirl   Aug 30, 2004

I hear you scream and I look down at where you stand
You flip over the girl lying there with a shaking hand
I look down and gasp at the girl covered in red
It takes a moment to realize its the blood shes bled
A small breath escapes her chest
Her mom tries to reviver her the way she knows best
Everyone gets in the car, there's no time to wait
Her family feels it may be too late
They don't know how much longer she can hold onto her life
They can't believe she tried to end it with her knife
After a lot of new blood and a really long night
Her family believes they can finally see some light
I reach to the girl and grab her hand
We both know no one will understand
I'm her ghost, her soul from within
We were the ones who committed this sin
Now we look at our family whose hopes and dreams we've crushed
They're hugs are hugged and cries are shushed
We hated ourselves and our life
The hate was so deep we used a knife
We were tired of living one big lie
We hated so much we wanted to die
In one swift moment we ended it all
Now, we have no where left to fall
