Dark Thoughts

What is this feeling
The one that brings me down
Is it my sadness lifting
Or an everlasting frown

Why can't I escape it
My mind is under attack
It's making me go crazy
This endless sea of black

Nobody can help me
This cloud never goes away
It sometimes leaves for a moment
But returns again another day

Each thought of mine is frightening
I'm afraid of what I might do
Why can't I just be normal
Like all the rest of you
