Sitting here

How can you shut me out
when you never let me in
I'm just standing here
waiting to see that smile again
but nothing brings me back
to what we were before
something is missing
like your shutting the door
why am i waiting
with tears in my eyes
should this make sense
or is it my time to die
do i deserve this look
do i deserve this mess
should we push it farther
it's just going to die
but i guess well hope for the best
look at each other
with that odd misunderstood smile
i guess friends come and go
i just didn't think we were the two that would break
but i guess we can't just pretend like everything is ok
when everything is a mess
nothing is what is was
and i guess that's that!!!!
