To hold you close to my heart.
To feel my life anew to start.
I'd give you my soul if you'd ask.
The sun I'd give, your days to bask.
A part of me your life would be.
A life made possible because of me.
I dream of you and what you'd grow up to become.
All I've wanted was to be your mum.
But this is not my turn now.
My tears I cry for you, my head does bow.
This life of mine will never be the same.
