A Burst of Emotions

Dedicated to my good friend of 9 years Bonnie, I love you Bonnie!!

I am so sick and tired of this cruel world
I am so sick and tired, of being sick and tired
People should be able to express their emotions freely
They shouldn't be forced to hide them

I hate having to keep my cuts hidden
I hate having to slap on a fake smile
I hate having to pretend everything is okay
When its not, and never will be

Cutting helps me to deal with my pain
So please, do not make me choose
Just stand beside me, and be my friend
Hold my hand
I'm going to need you

Don't ask me, why I feel the way I do
I am still searching for the answer myself
But if it does come down to it, if I want to leave
Please, don't hold me back..Just let me go

    haha thanx bizarre and allen, unfortunately yes it is the way I feel, most of it anyway. And its true people are forced to hide their emotions. I think because this is how it was easier for me to write a non rhyming poem, it just kinda came out anywayz. But thanx 4 ur comments they are very much appreciated!!

    wow, you have such a talent girl, I've wanting to write a non-rhyming poem for ages but it never worked for me, this piece is great, no rhymes but flows so well... I hope this is not what you really feel like tho :(....

    do you really feel like that or do u just like writing about it. i mean, its none of my business or anything, but i don't like it when ppl feel they don't belong or something, thats not the way life should be.
