Trends

As we go through life is our goal the end?
Who finds a Light where the darkness will cease?
To heaven's order, or an earthly trend
Some of us seek borders for sacred peace
Is the night our foe, and the day our friend?
To accept the Light, the darkness we relieve
In a wicked world which keeps on turning
Away from the Light forever burning
