Resurrection: Life at Death

by DMG   Sep 17, 2004

As I walked through the Valley of Death, tears in my eyes,
Exiled from Earth for speaking truthful lies.
A bloodstained cross arose, my conviction.
My beliefs had earned me crucifixion.
But one day you'll see, I'll resurrect me,
During the spring in the name of Christianity!
It is I whom you follow, God's son, your lord.
Through the people my beliefs shall be restored.
The cross was my death, my death was my life.
Throughout the whole world I'll be known in great rife.
Preach my name, my ideals, and all that I say,
Or be doomed to Hell on your dying day!
God's spoken, so listen or your life will be priced,
For I am your savior Jesus Christ!

Two-thousand years ago was the death of He.
But he still lives on as a divinity.
Widely accepted as the lord, Jesus Christ,
Hell has sunk deeper as the people have sufficed.
And the world he left behind is based on prayer
And taught to fear the fire deep under Earth's layer.
And in his sanctuary a depiction of his death,
As Christ dies nailed, taking his final breath.
