Tainted Rhapsody

WRITTEN BY BLAZING RHAPSODY AND ME

Seeking warmth in my own pall
I come home to my coffin
My destiny seems to be
The road that leads to nowhere
Like a shadow
disappearing in the darkness
A ghost in the midst of obscurity
I knock on this forbidden door
The house of shattered dreams
where the walls echo
With the scream of these nightmares
I know i have to escape
Before the ink kisses your epitaph
But i walk on.....

I stand in front of this portrait
This portrait of god all painted in black
I stand on the threshold
The memories pounding my head
Memories that are not mine
A shiver goes down my spine
As I walk through the door
The point of no return
But I can't remember what it looks like
I have entered forbidden space
the devil's precinct
hell's kitchen...

These predacious stones
seek for my maculated flesh
Calling for the blessing of darkness
The blessing of oblivion
The mephitis of death
fills this space
The beauty of hate
A cold shade of reality
This one last certainty
I find myself lost
in the flavour of this chemical dream
Maggots swarm as these vultures scream
I wait as she suspends me
In her Technicolor sky
I fade away
My cheerful descent to extinction...
