Hey guys,

Thanks for taking a look at my poems and reading my profile. Well here's a little bit about myself:

My name is Kayla (Its not spelled that way but its pronounce that way) Dearing. I was born February 15, 1989 I was born and raised in Georgia, but I have lived in Florida and South Carolina. I have a mom that recently moved back to GA in Nov of 2013 after leaving when I was five to move to Florida. I have a sister and a brother who lives in Florida with my ex step-dad. I love my brother and sister with all my heart and soul. I don't really get a long with my mom but I do try to have a relationship with her no matter how sour it gets. My grandma raised me pretty much all my life and I love her very much she's been like my mom all my life. I graduated high school in 2008. I have had a rocky life but I try to learn from my mistakes and keep moving on. I try to help people out the best way I can. So if you ever need advice feel free to ask. Feel free to comment and to add me on your favorite. But please be nice when you comment because I don't like mean people. If you ever need to talk don't be afraid to message I'm not gonna bite I promise :-D.
I've been writing since I was five years old and I been on this site since I was about 13 or 14. I write about my life, my experiences, or about other experiences that I can connect to in a way to make them feel better. Writing is my way to escape from this cruel world. Its my way of feeling like I can keep moving on when I feel like I have failed everyone around me. Or if I have thoughts of doing something to let out my anger, sadness, and even when I'm happy. So I guess you can say Its my drug and I'm addicted to it.
