Love You can’t Beat

by Michael D Nalley   Sep 23, 2004

Love is colorful. Love is sweet
Love is forgiving Bread we eat
Let my heart love with every beat
Any neighbor whom I shall meet

If love finds me worthy it won't begrudge
The ones my neighbors want to judge
Love is so gentle. Love is so kind
Love pardons debts, and leaves them behind

And who shall tell me whom I shall love?
Save the One sent to us from above?
Love is mighty. Love does not fail
Those who drink from the Holy Grail

We should not beat any love to death
I'd rather love with every breath
With every beat of my heart
Until from this earth I depart

If my heart is filled with good intentions
His love can pass through its small dimensions
To become like the love in the Holy Grail
Love you can't beat? Love you can't fail
