I'll be okay

I've only lived for thirteen years,
but I've been through so very much,
I've felt so many different things,
I've felt true cruelty's touch.

I've cried my eyes out,
tears flow every night,
because I don't cry in public,
I don't have feelings, right?

Well, guess what?
Try being me, for just one single day,
then you will find the answers
to the things I'm too weak to say.

You don't see one single thing,
the crimson tears I cry,
because you're to blind to see anything else
than what you can see with the eye.

I don't care what you think,
or the words that come from you,
for no one else can hate me more
than I already do.

The pain still hurts,
but I don't care anymore,
I don't even know
what the f..k I'm living for.

I don't need anyone,
to reach a helping hand,
I've learned to depend on myself,
for you will never understand.

I don't need you to fake your smile,
or tell me that you care,
because in the end, when I need you the most,
I know you won't be there.

Don't tell me that you're sorry,
or even dare to ask me why,
for I have made it for so long,
I'm still alive, aren't I?

    I could relate to everything you said, except for one verse. Even the 13 years part, since I am soon to be thirteen. Just a couple more weeks...wonderful poem, Chloe, it was just absolutly wonderful. Now, you are probably wondering which verse I couldn't relate to, it was this one:

    "I don't need anyone,
    to reach a helping hand,
    I've learned to depend on myself,
    for you will never understand."

    The first two lines, I just couldn't relate to, because unlike you, I do need a helping hand, I almost think it would help. As for the last two lines...I agree. Stay strong girl.
