The Dive

((This is cheesy fair warning))

There once was a story,
one you should read.
About who we really are,
and who we should be.

The weather wasn't cold,
The weather wasn't hot.
The weather was warm,
and cozy like a sock.

At the end of a pool a little girl stood
Climbing the latter to dive for the first time
all the while believing she could.

She got to the top, walked to the edge
Took a deep breath and prayed not to loose her head.

Time had stopped just for her, it was quiet all around,
Not a peep was heard, not even
the tiniest sound.

Off she jumped
This was her moment alone
Falling and tumbling
The silence drone
on, everlasting it felt

with a splash and a splash
the moment was over
Cheers around her
exploded in a thunder.

And then she looked up
to her mother's smiling face
"You did it sweety! But it's time to go home,"
and left to leave her imaginary place.
Her very first dive.
