You don't know me

by Mild insomnia   Sep 26, 2004

Why, do you think there's something wrong?
Why can't it be right?
No, cos I ain't changed in so long,
It don't mean that I've lied.

Oh, This is me, truly, accept me, please.

You don't know me, so don't judge me,
How could you understand, who I am?
You don't know me, so don't push me,
Could you possibly comprehend, who I am.
No, you don't know.

Why, do you assume I'm upset?
If I act differently.
No, I wouldn't place my bets,
No, not on me.

Why, So surprised, it's right, before your eyes.

You don't know me, don't neglect me,
How could you concieve, who I am?
You don't know me, don't forget me.
Could you even believe, who I am?
No, you don't know.

I have to change,
Can't live this way,
My head aches.
Can't stay the same,
Won't fake again,
It's too much pain.

You don't know me, so just leave me,
You could never embrace, who I am.
You don't know me, you can't need me,
Would you ever efface, who I am?

You don't know me, you ain't seen me,
You could never accept, who I am.
You don't know me, you ain't been me,
Would you ever regret, who I am?
Oh, you don't know.
