Universe beyond

by Olivier   Oct 3, 2004

Thousand words are singing in my mind,
Flowing through the music, a song is being born.
Fatally broken words are crying so deep inside.
Hoping they will ever tell their story,
You can't hear a lyric that's been torn.

I shall travel all over the world and the universe beyond,
Just to find someone to listen, to understand,
Even if it was just for one single minute.
You could have me going on.

Crowded rooms so suffocating, taking the fresh air.
I've always found what I needed here on my own.
Times are getting harder when people cease to care.
All those people have got enough air to sing their song.
In crowded rooms, not alone,
I feel so lonely.

I'm back one more time..I read this one again...I found myself thinking for a non-english-native he writes wonderfully. English is also my second language and I can really appreciate your facination with the language...what makes you great is that you are not stuck within the boundaries of english terminology, you acctually fashion your words to beauty..you don't use pre-stored phrases..I appreciate that. I relate. Wonderful job.

Thank you for my comment (100 years ago...sorry) but, still wanted to thank you and tell you that I loved this...I can relate. Words are silenced only if society forgets to hear, so keep saying what you have to say, and keep listening. I like how you took a different approach to this...not stuck in a "typical emo" genre... Though I'm not a fan of free verse (mainly because I'm not great at it) I think you made it shine. Lovely work. Come see me again some time.
    blessed be ..~*~..
