I feel like a fallen angel

I feel like a fallen angel,
The anger pent up inside,
The water up above me,
The fire just outside.

You ruined the 6th of September,
You ruined my dreams of the future,
You ruined my joy of life,
You’ve forgotten the way I nurture.

You harshly slap my feelings,
I keep them bottled up,
So then I play by myself,
Just like a newborn pup.

I draw our figures together,
I stare at our picture too,
I dream about our kisses,
And the way you said: “I love you.”

I wish I could turn back time,
I know what I would do then,
I would say: “Sure, come on over!”
And then we could just love again.

    wow, dont be that naive twards love, its great, find it elsewere...thank you for the comment, and i commend your efforts on this poem, very sad and twisted how you would return to a hate, or love, i guess it deprends on just how you look at it...from france? hell ya! write with soul and feeling, write with heart and blood, ahhh thats the recipe for success in your own eyes, be real and cry, love is good, hate is real...Lee nicole
