Is this the way it should be?

You have never hit me,
But you make me cry a lot,
Constantly Putting me down,
Making my soul rot,
Like a dripping tap,
You go on and on,
Telling me I am bad,
That the things I do are wrong,
Never giving me praise,
Say you have never loved me,
just always criticizing,
How I long to be free,
But i do really love you,
And you have never hit me,
Maybe I'm useless,
And this is the way it should be.

    That's never the way it should be. I don't know if you're talking about your parents or bf or whatever. I do know that love should always be returned if it is giving. Nobody deserves to be trashed. I really hope this poem isn't something you are going through in real life. If it is...it's time to sever that connect you have with that person or at least sit down and talk to that person about your feelings.

    Anywayz, I think you did a good job with this write. Short and to the point
