Losing You

by Libra2068   Oct 10, 2004

Like the tears of an angel from the heavens above
Yet these tears came from the one I shall forever love
How I crave that tender touch upon my face
Your voice, Your smile, Your soulful eyes encircled my place
A thousand words I wish I could hear you say
But all I hear is silent laughter repeating till fades
My knees bruised from the nights I prayed you back
My vision blurred from the sleep that I lack
A million knives stabbed forcefully in my heart
Scarring all the love that now has fallen apart
Who am I to say that I am happily in love
When my beloved flew afar like a free-spirited dove
So here I lay restful and dead
As my last grieving tear falls,
It becomes the last I'll ever shed...
