Another today again, tomorrow

by Foresaken_Tears   Oct 10, 2004

I bury my head and block out the sounds
Of wailing loss and my hearts slow pound
I cant see how I can stay anymore
Whilst you hang your head
Outside death's fateful door

A million tears wont return you to me
Or a thousand harsh words - so Ive found
And happiness now is too far, far away
My numb body has already drowned

I wallow in grief, thick as treacle i trudge
Through another sticky day in this life
And each time these tears fall fast down my cheeks
I will leave so you wont see my strife

Goodbye and I love you, is all I have left
But thats not how Id choose to let go
Yet standing here now I am thinking of you
As another red tear stains the snow.
