When I Am Dead

by Gem   Oct 12, 2004

When I am dead,
Cry out your heart,
Know that you’re to blame,
And that you played a part.

When I am dead,
Rest in your hands,
Your guilt filled head.

When I am dead,
Night after night,
See my body hanging,
Swinging in the moonlight.

When I am dead,
Remember what you did,
And what you said.

When I am dead,
Feel the pills in my hands,
Know that you killed me,
Know you killed my plans.

When I am dead,
Think of my family,
And the tears they shed.

When I am dead,
Feel the pain,
Scream in silence,
Cry as the rain,

When I am dead,
I will find you,
Weeping under your bed.

When I am dead,
See how I drowned,
Know how I felt,
Becoming the ground.

When I am dead,
My blood will run,
And turn the river red.

When I am dead,
You’ll have nowhere to run,
Because it was your name,
Written on the gun.

When I am dead,
The shadows will come for you,
Because it’s you they want instead.

Know that I hated you,
And how you made me suffer,
I’m going to hurt you too
Now that I am dead.
