Scared of heights

by Mild insomnia   Oct 18, 2004

It's colder outside than in,
And standing up here isn't doing me any good,
From her you can here the churchbells ring,
Waking up the rest of the neighbourhood.

From the top floor of these appartments,
You can see for miles and miles and miles around,
And still the views are making no difference,
Cos all I wanna do is get back down.

Sorry but I'm scared to fall,
I'm terrified of heights after all,
And is it really my fault?
It's a long way down,
To solid ground,
And I can't take a fall like that right now.
