The diary

by Shona   Oct 19, 2004

I sit and watch my tears fall onto that blank page, watch them fall as if from someone else. Another gentle mark is made as each seemingly innocent tear leaves an imprint as deep as the knife you dug into my back. Misleading like your smile and cold just like you heart they seep back through the pages blurring the words and the memories of a friendship so torn. Startled by the sudden sobs caught within, I am reminded once again of my last promises not to shed my tears for you. My promise to stop my heart aching for you.
