Brothers and Sisters

by Michael D Nalley   Oct 19, 2004

Oh someone please help me with this mind twister
How should I feel about my Brother’s sister?
I love my sisters and I love my brothers
I love my fathers and I love my mothers

Sometimes a mother tells us how to feel
As if our own feelings could not be real
Especially the mothers who give birth
To the children of this lowly earth

Brothers and sisters do we really know
Where everybody is going to go
Who among us is the most worthy of
Our Heavenly Father’s divine love?

Any sinner can find someone to criticize
And the church has the authority to canonize
All I know is our Brother’s love is real
Thank you Jesus for the love I feel
