Don't Let Go

Hold my hand, don't let go
I'll warm your hands from the cold snow
This was where we first met, or first "Date",
It wasn't early, it was more like late.
Your broken heart brought you here
And when you saw me, you shed your last tear
I held you close, I held you tight
We held each other through that night
I held your hand, and warmed it for you
We became one, instead of two
Our moment lasted very long
But it ended when the birds sang their song
At that moment they sang we somehow died
tears continued from the last ones you cried
We were shot to death, and we fell in the snow
But our hands stayed together, you didn't let go
With pain I looked into your eyes filled with fear
And down your face came a single tear
We still hold hands after many years
And from far away you can still hear our tears
So just never let go, I'll hold you tight
And we'll make it through another night.
