I Had a Nightmare...Of Me

When I fall into a dream I'm at peace
One night I had one and it was about a girl
The dream showed me what she went through

I saw her blood
I saw her scars and fresh cuts
Along with her broken soul
Her heart hanging on for life
Then I saw a shiny knife

I knew it was the end her world
I knew she was going for good
I knew she wasn't meant to live
When I saw the knife
That was about to take away that broken bled life

At first this looked like a dream
But then it seemed..
It wasn't, it was nightmare haunting me
Then I realized this girl wasn't just someone, it was me
All this I had gone through

The story still lies inside my head
And forever it will stay
I look back on it everyday
I wonder what other nightmares of me will I have the next day

This Broken Bled Life will never disappear
That's why I'm still here
Dreaming up all these nightmares
Of me
